The Gandaki Province Committee of the Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to form the coalition government in the province under its leadership.
A meeting of the province committee concluded on Sunday took the decision to form the province government under its leadership, said committee member and publicity committee deputy chief Shiromani Baral.
The meeting also extended thanks to all the voters who voted NC and coalition constituent parties' candidates.
The NC province committee has also thanked the Election Commission, security personnel, employees, media persons, observers and other organizations for their roles in successfully accomplishing the elections.
The NC had secured wins in 10 out of its 12 constituencies in the House of Representatives in Gandaki Province.
Likewise, 18 out of 21 candidates from the NC secured victory in the Gandaki Province Assembly.
