Nepali Congress has deployed seven leaders for the upcoming Free Student Union (FSU) elections.
The leaders have been deployed to seven provinces to assist the Nepal Student Union, the student wing of the NC, in the upcoming elections.
The party has assigned General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma as the coordinator for the internal preparations of the FSU elections.
Similarly, Central Working Committee Member Nanu Bastola has been assigned to liaise the party's CWC with the FSU elections.
The FUS election is being held on March 18, the TU Student Welfare Council has said.

Deputy General Secretary Bhishma Raj Angdembe has been deployed to Koshi Province, Deputy General Secretary Mahendra Yadav to Madhesh, Deputy General Secretary Mahalaxmi Upadhyaya (Dina) (Bagmati), Deputy General Secretary Jeevan Pariyar (Gandaki), leader Chandra Bhandari (Lumbini), Jeevan Bahadur Shahi (Karnali), and NP Saud has been deployed to Sudurpaschim.
General Secretary Sharma has informed that a circular has been sent to all the 77 NC district party offices. The tough competition is likely between the Nepal Student Union and the All Nepal National Free Student Union, the student wings of NC and CPN (UML), respectively.
The elections are set to be held in 62 constituent colleges and 1040 affiliated colleges on March 18.
