Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has said that he is committed to the current political system and that the agitated people should be appeased.
Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Tuesday, he said that no one should be arrogant based on numerical strength.
“The NC should prioritize addressing the concerns of angry and dissatisfied citizens,” he said.
Meanwhile, Thapa reminded them of the nation's transition from constitutional monarchy to a federal democratic republic, affirming the NC's unwavering commitment to federalism.
"The Nepali Congress was the first party to embrace a federalist political structure, a decision made at its first convention," said Thapa, "This NC's commitment has led us to the current constitutional arrangement."
