PM Oli insists on further strengthening federal democratic republic

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said taking the country ahead towards good governance and prosperity by strengthening federal democratic republic is the top priority of the government and its efforts are centered on accordingly.

In his special address to the Koshi Province Assembly today, the Prime Minister stressed the need of further strengthening existing governance system in alignment with the constitution.

"We long for freeing the citizens from poverty and backwardness. But only elimination of poverty will not be enough, it is essential to address the just needs of the poor and take the country ahead," he said.

Job creation with a focus on entrepreneurship exploration is our priority to achieve prosperity in the country that ensures civic supremacy, according to the Prime Minister, who urged the three-tier government to cooperate for the country's development.

PM Oli urged one and all to consider country's geographical, culture and caste diversities and contribute to establishing unity among such diversities.

He sought the roles of all from their respective quarters to promote the country's identity as the 'nation with a glorious history, sovereignty, democracy and prosperity' in the world forum.

Prior to this, the Prime Minister addressed the 13th Convocation of the Purbanchal University.
