Nepal has clinched a 6-wicket consolation win against Hong Kong in the final stage match of the Women's T20I Quadrangular Series held in Uganda.
Chasing the 105-run target set by Hong Kong, Nepal reached it in 19.3 overs losing 4 wickets.
To achieve the target, Samjhana Khadka topped the score with 47 runs including 3 fours off 43 deliveries followed by Puja Mahato with 20 runs while captain Indu Barma contributed 18 runs. The other batters could not reach double-digit runs.
Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss at the Entebbe Cricket Oval, Entebbe on Friday, Hong Kong notched up 104 runs losing 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Shanzeen Shahzad took the highest 54 runs including 5 fours and on 1 six off 47 deliveries for Hong Kong.
Kary Chan made 16 runs while Yasmin Daswani contributed 14 runs. The other batters could not achieve significant runs.
On the bowling side, Rajmati Airee took the highest 3 wickets followed by Indu Barma with 2 wickets while Puja Mahato and Ishwori Bist have claimed 1 wicket each for Nepal.
This is just a consolation win for Nepal as it has already crashed out of the league stage of the Women's T20I Quadrangular Series.
