The Nepali Embassy in the UAE has released data showing that 209 Nepalis citizens died between the Neapli months Shrawan and Falgun.
Last year, 231 Nepalis died in the UAE, which is an average of 19.25 deaths per month.
While 231 Nepalis died in the UAE in the 12 months of the last fiscal year 2080/81 BS, this year, the number has reached 209 in just 8 months.
Based on this data, an average of 26 Nepali migrant workers are dying in the UAE every month.
The embassy has stated that Nepalis are dying due to road accidents, heart attacks, other ailments, and workplace accidents.
