Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has stated that Nepali Congress has a full support for the incumbent government led by KP Sharma Oli.
Nepali Congress President Deuba said this during the book launch ceremony of an autobiography 'Ma Ra Mero Sanobuba' by Sujata Koirala organized at the Office of the Prime Minister in Baluwatar today.
Deuba further said that he and Prime Minister Oli had served a prison term in the same jail and has become friends since then. Despite having different political ideologies, they are friends since their youth, he clarified.
"There has an agreement between Oli-led CPN (UML) and our party Nepali Congress. He had served an acute jail-term," he said, "Despite having different political ideologies, we have a good relationship on the ground of becoming jail-mates. This relationship will continue in the upcoming days, too. The NC has a full support for the Oli-led government."
Meanwhile, Prime Minister criticized Deuba for appointing Kulman as the managing director of the Nepal Electricity Authority for the second time during his tenure as the prime minister.
