The candidate close to the ruling coalition has secured over 2,000 votes, while the candidate backed by opposition alliance is trailing by 1,008 votes in the election of the Nepal Bar Association.
According to the latest vote count updates, presidential candidate Bijay Prasad Mishra received 2,010 votes, while his closest rival, Raman Kumar Shrestha, garnered 1,008 votes. Mishra has taken a lead with 1,002 votes, the election committee said.
Similarly, in other positions as well, the panel led by Mishra is maintaining a significant lead in the vote count.
