175,000 people visit 11-day festival in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur

A total of 175,000 people visited the 9th Bhaktapur Industrial Cultural, Tourism, Agriculture and Trade Festival 2081/82 organized at Sallaghari Ground in Bhaktapur on the occasion of New Year and Bisket Jatra (festival).

More than 175,000 people have attended the 11-day festival, which began on March 31 with the slogan of 'New Year, New Thinking is a Source of Progress for the Youth', said Sandeep Mahat, President of the organization.

According to him, daily necessities, food items, utensils as well as various types of clothes, shoes, and agricultural and handicraft items used in daily life have been put on display and sale in the festival.
