The Embassy of Nepal in Beijing hosted the Nepal Food Festival 2025 to promote Nepali cuisine and cultural heritage. Organized by the Nepal Tourism Board, the event celebrated the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and China, as well as Visit Nepal Year 2025.
Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, via video message, highlighted Nepal’s diverse and rich culinary traditions, inviting global citizens to visit Nepal and experience its food and culture firsthand.
Nepali Ambassador to China, Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli, shed light on the uniqueness of Nepali dishes and encouraged attendees to visit Nepal.

Vice President of the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), Xu Peng, praised the initiative, urging people to savor Nepali flavors and experience local traditions. Jin Zhan Lin, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Travel Services, stressed strengthening Nepal-China cultural and tourism ties.
The festival featured traditional dishes like sel roti, momo, yomari, juju dhau, and chataamari, alongside exhibitions of thangka, handicrafts, and cultural performances.
Nepal Tourism Board Director Sunil Sharma promoted Nepal as a must-visit destination for an authentic culinary and cultural experience.
