Nepal-Oman ODI triangular match called off due to rain (with photos)

The match between Nepal and Oman under the ICC Men's World Cup League-2 triangular series has been called off due to rain.

Chasing a mammoth 306-run target set by Oman, Nepal scored 155 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 36.5 overs when the match was called off due to rain.

Gulshan Jha and Sompal Kami are at the crease on 14 and 2 not out runs. Dipendra Singh Airee returned to the pavilion after scoring 60 runs. Bhim Sarki was out for 28 runs. Rohit Paudel scored 10 and Aarif Sheikh added 14 runs.

Opener Kushal Bhurtel was caught LBW after scoring 1 run. Aashif Sheikh was caught out for 19 runs. Rohit Kumar Paudel was bowled out by Nadeem Khan after scoring 10 runs. Basir Ahamed, who scored 1 run, was also dismissed by Nadeem.

For Oman, Nadeem Khan took 3 wickets followed by Shakil Ahmed with 2 wickets while Muhammed Imran and Wasim Ali took 1 wicket each.

Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Oman had scored 305 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
