The Madan Puraskar Guthi has revealed the list of the top 10 books nominated for the 'Madan Puraskar-2082 BS'.
The Madan Puraskar is one of the prestigious awards in Nepal, particularly in Nepali literature.
According to the press statement issued by Guthi chair Kunda Dixit, out of a remarkable 298 submissions spanning various genres, the Guthi has selected these standout entries for evaluation.
The nominees include: "Agyat" by Keshavraj Gyawali, "Itha" by Keshav Dahal, "Utkarsha" by Lalit Bishta, "History of the Border of Simraungadh Connected with Nepal Mandala" by Roshan Kumar Jha, "Traditional Death Songs of the Nepalese Community" by Beena Joshi (Rajbhandari), "Paridhi" by Uma Subedi, "Mahayug" by Seema Abhas, "Salaha" by Shrawan Mukarung, "Swasparsha" by Dr. Navaraj KC, and " Hiund" by Nadish.
The Puraskar carries a prize money of Rs 400,000 along with a letter of certificate, according to the organizer.
