Efforts are underway within Nepali Congress to foster open dialogue and unity ahead of its upcoming 15th General Convention, Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma stated during a press conference organized at the party’s central office in Sanepa on Monday.
Clarifying the party’s internal dynamics and preparations, Sharma emphasized that leadership is focused on creating an environment where all members can participate seamlessly.
Ongoing discussions between party President Gagan Kumar Thapa, the general secretaries, and the broader leadership are progressing positively to ensure broad involvement across the party file and ranks. Sharma noted that these internal consultations are designed to address concerns early and build a strong, consensus-driven foundation for the convention.
Expressing full confidence in the process, Sharma stated that the leadership remains optimistic about reaching a positive conclusion. He addressed journalists at the start of the conference to clear up speculation surrounding internal affairs, reassuring that concerted efforts are actively being made to forge understanding and maintain party unity.
