After incessant rains, Fewa Lake in Pokhara has taken on a new and vast form.
Incessant rains have raised the water level of Fewa Lake, restoring it to its historic, natural shape. However, floodwaters flowing from the lake’s source have completely submerged the surrounding wetlands and farmlands.

After the rains stopped, the surface of the lake has appeared calm and serene. The reflection of the surrounding mountains and fog is clearly visible on Fewa Lake. Locals and tourists have started flocking to the lakeside area to capture the enchanting view of Fewa Lake and observe the new appearance of the lake.

However, the rising water level has also posed some challenges and serious questions. The 'Jangi Pillars' and the area called 'Talghar', which were planted by the Pokhara Metropolitan City to demarcate the boundaries of Fewa Lake, are now submerged in water.
