Visiting Brazilian footballer Roberto Carlos has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The meeting between Carlos and Prime Minister Oli took place at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Wednesday.
Football star Carlos arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday to watch the matches of Nepal Super League (NSL) in Kathmandu.
Welcoming Carlos, Prime Minister Oli said that his arrival would encourage the youth and boost the morale of the players. He also highlighted the friendly ties between Nepal and Brazil and called for an exchange of sports-related training and expertise.
During the meeting, Oli requested Carlos to revisit Nepal, with plans including mountain flights and a jungle safari.
Expressing gratitude to Oli for his warm welcome, Carlos said he was delighted to meet with the Prime Minister, as well as the youth and players during his Nepal visit.
