Most parts of the country including the Kathmandu Valley have been overcast on Thursday morning.
The weather which was clear until Wednesday has been overcast this morning. According to meteorologists, there is a sudden change in the weather due to the impact of the westerly low pressure system in the eastern part of the country.
With the thick clouds in the Kathmandu Valley, scheduled flights at the Tribhuvan International Airport have been affected.
Cold has increased due to mists and the clouds in the federal capital. The weather is cloudy in the hilly areas of Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh, said the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
