The Nepali national cricket team has entered the final of the Asian Games Men's Qualifier.
Nepal reached the final by defeating Oman by 8 wickets in the semi-final match played at the Singapore National Cricket Ground on Sunday morning.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Oman was all out for 94 runs in 19.4 overs.
Nepal achieved the target in 9.2 overs for the loss of 2 wickets, clinching a victory.
In Nepal's victory, Lokesh Bam played an unbeaten innings of 44 runs off 26 balls with the help of 7 fours and 1 six.
Opener Kushal Bhurtel scored 20 runs while Rohit Paudel played an unbeaten innings of 21 runs.
Captain Sufyan Mehmood scored 38 runs for Oman, while Abdul Jalil scored 16 and Zubair Al Balushi scored 22 runs.
Karan KC took 3 wickets for Nepal, while Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets each.
Similarly, Sahab Alam, Kushal Malla and Dipendra Singh Airee took 1 wicket each.
Nepal will now face the winner of the match between Hong Kong and Malaysia on Monday for the title.
Nepal has already qualified for the Asian Games by reaching the semi-finals.
Along with Nepal, the other three teams that reached the semi-finals have also been selected for the Asian Games.
