A passenger bus met with an accident at Badgama in Kanchanrup Municipality–10, Saptari, on the East-West Highway, leaving two individuals dead.
The District Police Office, Saptari, reported that six people were injured in the accident.
The passenger bus, Province 1–01–001 Kha 3420, turned turtle after it went out of control while it was traveling from Udayapur to Biratnagar.
The deceased includes one man and one woman. Their bodies, found trapped under the bus, were sent to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj.
Their identities are yet to be ascertained.
