Flights have been affected due to poor visibility caused by adverse weather across the country.

The domestic and international flights have been affected due to poor visibility caused by rains, Rinji Sherpa, the spokesperson of the TIA said.

While an international flight of Jazeera Airways diverted to Banaras of India, a mountain flight of Buddha Air was also diverted, Sherpa informed.

Similarly, three flights of Summit and Tara Air bound for Lukla have been diverted owning to the bad weather.

Similarly, a flight of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) bound for Thamkharka from Kathmandu has also been diverted.

However, with the rain subsided, flights now have gradually started operating from airports including the TIA, Sherpa said.

Light to moderate rainfall occurred in the Kathmandu Valley this morning. The weather around the Valley is now generally fair, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.
