A man has killed himself after taking the life of his second wife in Pokhara.
According to the District Police Office, Kaski, 57-year-old Rishiram Baral of Pokhara Metropolitan City-17, Birauta killed his second wife 37-year-old Devi Parajuli Baral on Monday.
Rishiram killed his wife Devi Parajuli with a sharp weapon over a minor dispute that cropped up after he posted the image of the meeting with his first wife on Facebook.
Acting on a tip-off, when a team of police led by DSP Santosh Niraula of Ward Area Police Office, Baidam, reached the incident site, both the husband and wife were found dead soaked in a pool of blood.
Devi had face injuries while her husband had a deep cut in his neck. Rishiram has apparently killed himself after murdering his wife. A knife and empty can of metacid were recovered from the incident site.
According to his neighbors, Rishiram had married his second wife three years ago. His second first has a son. They have been staying at Pokhara-5, Malepatan. The second wife had no kids.
