Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, the chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister, sustained minor injuries after slipping in the bathroom.
He suffered minor injuries to his forehead after falling in the bathroom at his residence in Khumaltar on Tuesday night.
Following the injury, he was taken to Mediciti Hospital for treatment during the night.
However, his daughter Ganga Dahal has informed that Prachanda is now back at home and engaged in his regular activities.
"Last night, my father slipped in the bathroom and sustained a minor external injury to his forehead. After a routine check-up at the nearby Mediciti Hospital, he has returned home and resumed his regular duties. We would like to thank everyone for their concern and care regarding his health!" Ganga Dahal wrote on social media this morning.
