Gold hits an all-time high of Rs 191,600 per tola

The gold price has increased by Rs 1,700 per tola on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

With the price hike, the gold is being sold for Rs 191,600 per tola, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA). 

This is the highest price of yellow precious metal ever recorded in the Nepali market. The bullion price was Rs 189,900 per tola yesterday.

On the other hand, the price of silver remains unchanged today.

According to the Federation, the silver is being sold for Rs 1,965 per tola today.

 The gold is being transacted for US$ 3,393 per ounce in the international market.
