Nepali nat'l found dead in bus while returning home from India

A Nepali national, who was coming back to Nepal from India, has been found dead in the bus he was traveling by.

The deceased has been identified as Chet Bahadur Panta of Gorkha. He was found dead in the bus at Rupaidiha of India, bordering Nepalgunj, Banke, informed DSP Deepak Patali, the spokesperson of the District Police Office, Banke,

"Panta, 46, is the resident of Gandaki Rural Municipality, Phujel, Gorkha," confirmed DSP Patali based the citizenship card possessed by him.

Patali said the kin of the deceased has been already contacted and they are heading to the incident site to collect the body.

Panta's body has been kept in an Indian hospital at Rupaidiha. Panta was found dead on the bus when he did not get off the bus during inquiry, according to police.
