The government's policies and programs have been endorsed by majority of lawmakers.
The policies and programs floated by the Speaker for endorsement in the House meeting has been passed by the majority of lawmakers today.
The policies and programs had been tabled in the House meeting on May 2. Lawmakers of the ruling parties -- Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) -- had deliberated in favor the document while those from opposition had stood against it.
Prior to the endorsement of policies and programs, KP Oli had answered the questions raised on the document in the House meeting.
Similarly, amendment proposals submitted by the opposition leaders had been rejected.
The endorsement of the policies and programs has paved the way for the government to submit the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS in the federal parliament on May 29.
