Gold price down Rs 2,000 per tola

The price of gold has fallen in the international market compared to the price on Monday. This has its effect in the domestic market as well.

The price of gold has decreased by Rs 2,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the local market. However, the price of silver has increased by Rs 10 per tola.

The price of gold has been determined at Rs 184,800 per tola while that of silver at Rs 1,970 per tola today, according to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

Gold was traded at Rs 186,800 per tola while the same unit of silver was traded for Rs 1,960 on Monday.

The price of gold in the international market is 3252 US dollars per ounce today, the Federation stated.
