Gold price up Rs 5000 per tola

The price of gold has increased by Rs 5,000 per tola on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

With the price hike, the yellow precious metal is being sold for Rs 189,800 per tola, said the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA).

The price of bullion was Rs 184,800 per tola.

The gold price had hit a record high of Rs 197,900 per tola on April 22.

Similarly, the price of silver has also gone up. According to the Federation, the silver is being sold for Rs 1,990 per tola today.

The price of silver was Rs 1,940 per tola yesterday.
