Three injured in Gaushala pile-up

Three people sustained injures in a vehicular accident involving several other vehicles that occurred at Gaushala in Kathmandu on Wednesday morning.

A bus, Ba 5 Kha 6735, belonging to Baba Gokarneshwar Yatayat, heading to Airport from Gaushala, went out of control and hit some other moving vehicles.

The out-of-control bus driver has been at large, said the District Police Range, Kathmandu Spokesperson SP Apil Raj Bohara.

The bus had hit a microbus (Ba 5 Kha 731), car (Ba. Pro. 01-026 Cha 8576), car (B AC 9773), car (Ba 16, Cha 4452), motorcycle (Pro-2-01003 Pa 1005), motorcycle (Ba 51 Pa 22) and scooter (Ba. Pro-02-046 Pa 4819).

Raj Kumar Shrestha of Dhading who was riding the motorcycle (Ba 51 Pa 22) and pillion rider Bikash Kattel of Nuwakot and motorcycle (Pro-2-01-003- Pa 1005) rider sustained minor injuries in the pile-up. The accident occurred at 10:55 AM.

They are undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College.
