Buddha Air successfully lands ATR 72 aircraft at Bharatpur Airport

Private sector airline service provider Buddha Air has successfully landed a large plane at Bharatpur Airport.

This is the first time an ATR 72 aircraft has landed at the airport in Chitwan.

Regular flights with 47-seater aircraft were already in operation. Recently, work has been underway to extend the airport runway.

Buddha Air, which has been operating regular flights since 2005, successfully conducted a test flight today with a 72-seater ATR 72 aircraft as part of its efforts to operate larger planes, the compnay said.
