The Nepal government has appointed Laxman Humagain as the chairperson of the Advertisement Board.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday appointed Humagain as the chairperson of the Board.
Unveiling the cabinet's decision on Tuesday, Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung said, "The Council of Ministers decided to appoint Laxman Humagain as the chairperson of the Advertisement Board for a four-year term."
Minister Gurung further said that the government has decided to approve the acquisition of 3.278 hectares of land for the construction of the Bafikot-Khungri 132 KV transmission line project.
Similarly, Dr. Krishna Prasad Timsina, a senior scientist, has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Nepal Agricultural Research Council.
The government has taken 28 decisions, including approval of the submission of the National Sports Development Act, 2077 BS amendment bill to the Federal Parliament, the submission of the bill related to information technology and cyber security to the Federal Parliament, and endorsement of the Public Service Broadcasting Bill, 2082 BS, among others.
