The newly elected office-bearers and central committee members of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have taken the oath of office and secrecy.
President Rabi Lamichhane on Wednesday administered the oath of office bearers and central members at the RSP Central Office, Banasthali. 99 central members were elected from the First General Convention of RSP.

Similarly, Lamichhane was elected as the President and Dr Swarnim Wagle as the Vice President unopposed. Similarly, Sobita Gautam was elected as the Vice President, Bipin Acharya as the General Secretary, and Hari Dhakal, Asim Shah and Nisha Dangi were elected as the Joint General Secretaries.
There is a provision to nominate 11 office-bearers, including senior leaders of Rastriya Swatantra Party. Similarly, President Lamichhane will nominate 51 central members.

The first general convention of RSP began in Chitwan on June 21. The office bearers and central committee members elected through the 6-day general convention took the oath today. President Lamichhane had taken the oath at the general convention venue itself.
