The application process for the coveted beauty pageant Miss Universe Nepal 2025 has officially begun.

Global Glamour Venture, the organizing body, announced the opening of registrations during a press conference held at Hilton Hotel on Wednesday.

Eligible participants must be at least 18 years old and have completed their 12th grade or equivalent education. There are no restrictions regarding height, weight, or marital status. Both Nepali citizens and non-resident Nepali women are encouraged to apply.

"You are beautiful just the way you are. I have always believed that each of us is perfect in our own way. This year, we are committed to making the competition more democratic and inclusive. We welcome women from all backgrounds," said National Director Sangita Puri.

Interested candidates can submit their applications via the Khalti app, the Miss Universe Nepal website, or social media platforms by June 29.

This year’s edition will feature a revamped format, with the competition being broadcast as an eight-episode TV series. "The new format will allow viewers to understand the contestants and the program in greater depth," added Puri.

The pageant has partnered with the International Labor Organization (ILO) for this edition. The grand finale is scheduled to take place in the first week of September at Sunrise Convention Center in Godavari, Lalitpur.

Selected contestants will undergo a 25-day intensive training program, followed by a closed camp in the first week of September. Renowned choreographer Dikpal Karki will be part of the event’s creative team.

With a focus on inclusivity and empowerment, Miss Universe Nepal 2025 aims to celebrate the diversity and strength of Nepali women.
