Nepal has received a 297-run target from host Scotland in the ODI match under the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 underway in Scotland.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss at the Forthill Cricket Ground in Dundee, Scotland notched up 296 runs losing 7 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Charlie Tear topped the score with 80 runs including 12 fours and 1 six off 72 balls followed by Finlay McCreath with 55 runs including 3 fours and 1 six off 67 deliveries.
Similarly, captain Richie Berrington made 40 runs off 46 deliveries while Matthew Cross contributed 39 runs off 56 balls. Brandon McMullen, Michael Leask, George Munsey and Mark Watt contribued 19, 18, 12, and 10 runs, respectively.
On the bowling side, Rijan Dhakal, Karan KC and Sompal Kami grabbed 2 wickets each giving away, 78, 43 and 66 runs, respectively for Nepal. Similarly, Sandeep Lamichhane claimed 1 wicket.
