Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has stated that since the case filed by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) against former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has now become a matter for the court, he will not comment on the issue.

Talking to journalists at Biratnagar Airport today, Thapa emphasized that the case against former Prime Minister Nepal should be resolved respectfully.

Ahead of the upcoming General Convention of Nepali Congress, he stressed that the issue of active members must be resolved, urging every leader to renew memberships and reorganize their electoral constituencies.

Meanwhile, Thapa expressed hope that Congress leaders will fulfill their responsibilities on time.

The government must work more effectively to win the people's trust, said General Secretary Thapa, underlining the need to conduct a review of ongoing work.
