Eight pilgrims sustained injuries after a microbus met with an accident at Tarkeshwar in Kathmandu on Friday afternoon.
The accident occurred after a microbus, Ba 1 Ja 8685, carrying pilgrims from Banepa, Kavre to Bhuwaneshwar Temple in Tarkeshwar Municipality-3, Tinpiple, Kathmandu, met with an accident at 1 PM, according to the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
The microbus fell some 10 meters down the road after it went out of control apparently due to brake failure, said the police.
The injured are Sunita Khadka, Sarada Rawat, Anita Thapa, Kanchhi Khadka, Ram Shobha, Shanta Khatri, Parwati Kafle and Laxmi Khadka, according to the police.
