Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have boycotted today's meeting of the House of Representatives, demanding an investigation into Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak over the "visit visa" scam.

The session, which was scheduled to include a question-and-answer segment with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, was adjourned by Speaker Devraj Ghimire after the opposition continued their protest. Lawmakers from both parties walked out of the assembly hall following the postponement.

The opposition has been disrupting parliamentary proceedings since May 27, insisting on a probe into the Home Minister's alleged involvement in the visa issuance scandal. They have also demanded that the Prime Minister address the issue in the House.

Due to the ongoing protest, the Speaker announced the deferral of the PM's Q&A session.

The opposition has vowed to continue their boycott until their demands for an impartial investigation are met.
