A video showing a woman being rescued while being flown away by the Bishnumati River on Wednesday night, has been made public.
She had fallen into the swollen Bishnumati River along with a car near the bridge at Baniyatar in Tokha Municipality-8 at 10:15 PM yesterday.

Locals had informed the police after they noticed the car, Ba Pro 01 031 Cha 6141, with a woman inside being swept away by the Bishnumati River near Grande Hospital.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team fanned out to the incident site and rescued the woman safely. According to the police, the rescued woman is 34-year-old Bhawana Oli, of Tulsipur, Dang, currently staying in Tokha, Kathmandu.

The car was being driven by 35-year-old Ankush Singh of Shuklapanta Municipality-1, Kanchanpur, currently staying at Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.
However, Singh had jumped off the car as soon as she fell into the river, according to SP Apil Raj Bohara, the spokesperson of the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
The car was taken out with the help of a crane at 12 AM (in the middle of the night).
