The Embassy of Pakistan on Friday inaugurated the "Pakistan-Nepal Children Park" in Budhanilkantha Municipality-8, Kathmandu, as a gesture of goodwill and enduring friendship between the two nations.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal, Abrar H Hashmi, presided over the ceremony, joined by local officials, community leaders, and residents.
The newly renovated park, equipped with upgraded play stations, swings, and a walking track, was dedicated as a "gift from the children and people of Pakistan" to the Gulftar community. Ambassador Hashmi praised the collaboration with Budhanilkantha Municipality and emphasized the park’s role in fostering cross-cultural bonds.

Budhanilkantha Mayor Mitharam Adhikari expressed gratitude to Pakistan, highlighting the park as a symbol of lasting cooperation. Civil society representatives and residents welcomed the initiative, noting its significance for families and children seeking recreational spaces.
This marks the third park renovated by the Pakistani Embassy in Kathmandu in three years, reflecting its commitment to strengthening people-centric ties through cultural commonalities and civic partnerships. The park stands as a testament to the shared aspirations and friendship between Pakistan and Nepal.
