SEE results out with 61.81% pass

The results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) for the Academic Year 2081 BS have been published.

According to the National Examination Board (BEB), 61.81 percent of the examinees who appeared in the SEE have passed the exams, Board Chairman Dr Mahashram Sharma said during a press meet a while ago. This is 14.81 percent more compared to the SEE results last year. Only 47 percent of the examines had passed the exams last year.

As per the results toward regular exams announced late this evening, 48,177 out of the total 438,896, have secured the GPA ranging from 3.6 to 4 while 81,385 have been graded with 3.2 to 3.6 GPA and 89,124 have obtained 2.8 to 3.2 GPA.

The number of students achieving from GPA 2.4 to 2.8 GPA is 48,479 and those achieving 2 to 2.4 GPA are numbered 4,126.

Eight students secured 1.6 to 2 GPA, 167,597 students were non-graded while exams of 126 students were canceled.

Examinees can check the SEE results from the board's website https://www.neb.gov.np/. Similarly, they can also view the results by dialing 1600 from a telephone or mobile phone and entering the symbol number as per the instructions provided. 

A total of 499,183 examinees had participated in the SEE held in March, 2025. Among them, 431,466 are from regular category and 67,715 fall under the grade upgradation category.

Even though the SEE results were scheduled to be published on June 21, it was delayed almost by a week after teachers upped the ante demanding the enactment of the School Education Act.
