Actress Bipana Thapa is returning to Nepali film industry after a gap of 13 years.

Audiences last saw Bipana in the silver screen in 2009's 'Sangharsha Zindagiko'.

However, her fans are excited that she is making comeback again, thanks to actress Neeta Dhungana.

Bipana had been saying that she would return if she gets a good offer. And apparently Neeta's offer is good enought for Bipana to return after a gap of 13 years.

Bipana has been signed in Neeta Film's 'Hrashwo Deerga' and reported to appear in the lead role, information in this regard was shared by Neeta through her social media.

Bipana, who stayed away from the film industry after 2009, has been living in Kolkata, India, following her marriage to an Indian citizen.

Director of Hrashwo Deerga Chandra Pant said Bipana was signed for the film via online.

He says, "We were in search of someone to portray a strong character, and in the course, we decided to sign Bipana for the role."

Nepali actors such as Saroj Khanal, Salon Basnet, Harihar Adhikari, Pradeep Rawat, Brahmananda along with some Indian actors have been already finalized for the film.

The shooting of Hrashwo Deerga is scheduled to start from February 1.
