CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'

CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' emphasized the need for an investigation into the visit visa scam and irregularities in the immigration system at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

He said this while addressing the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday.

He noted that the main opposition party and other opposition parties had tried to draw the government's attention by holding serious discussions on this issue, but due to unavoidable circumstances, the parliament was obstructed.

He clarified that the opposition parties decided to allow the House to function due to matters of national importance, such as the economic survey and the budget, which must be presented by May 29 (Jestha 15).

Prachanda noted that the visit visa scam has been a long-standing issue and raised suspicions of possible international involvement in it. "A deep and impartial investigation is necessary on this matter," he said.

Prachanda further stated that the Maoist party has brought historic changes to the country and that only they possess the courage and vision to outline a clear roadmap for the future.

Addressing the meeting of the Federal Parliament, he highlighted the Maoist leadership's contributions, ranging from the establishment of the republic and constitution-making to achievements in the energy sector.

He said, "We have made history, and only we have the courage and boldness to chart the future of the country. We have also taken the responsibility to fulfill the people's dreams."
