Four ministers of Nepali Congress resign in Bagmati Province

Four ministers appointed to the government of Bagmati Province from ruling Nepali Congress have tendered their resignations.

Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Suraj Chandra Lamichhane, who is also the spokesperson of the government, Culture and Tourism Minister Bimal Thakuri, Minister for Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Madhu Shrestha, and Youth and Sports Minister Min Krishna Maharjan have resigned from their posts.  

They tendered their resignations to Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama via social media app WhatsApp, sources have said. 

Four ministers of Nepali Congress resigned from their posts from the government which is led by their own party.
