The Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) is set to organize the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 from August 6 to 10 at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu, showcasing 35 new vehicles alongside cutting-edge mobility solutions. The event, touted as Nepal’s largest auto expo, will feature the launch of 35 new vehicles, including 15 two-wheelers, 15 four-wheelers, and 5 commercial vehicles.
Speaking at a press conference held at Soaltee Hotel on Monday, Auto Expo Committee Head Shirish Kumar Murarka highlighted the expo’s focus on innovation and accessibility. “This year’s expo will showcase cutting-edge mobility solutions, with improved infrastructure like better drainage and disability-friendly facilities,” he said.

Discounts, prizes, and expert discussions
Sponsors Everest Bank and National Insurance pledged support for sustainable transport development. Ride-sharing app Pathao will offer 30% discounts for expo-bound trips, while Frontline Hospital will provide on-site medical services. NAIMA also announced a NPR 100,000 cash prize for the best social media content on the expo, with NPR 10,000 each for ten runners-up.
NAIMA President Ritu Singh Vaidya emphasized the expo’s significance: “This will be Nepal’s most impactful auto exhibition, featuring panel discussions with national and international experts.” Sessions will cover topics like “Mobility – Past, Present, and Future”, with speakers from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, and India’s Institute of Road Traffic Education.

Tickets and social cause
Tickets are available on Khalti, with 5% of sales funding scholarships for mobility-sector students. Over 50 auto brands will participate in the five-day event.
