Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Bahadur Singh Lama, appointed three ministers on Wednesday morning.

Chief Minister Lama, who was removed from the leadership of the Nepali Congress Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party on Tuesday, filled out three vacant ministerial portfolios.

After five ministers resigned to support NC provincial lawmaker, Indra Bahadur Baniya, who registered a no-confidence motion against him in the parliamentary party yesterday, Lama appointed three ministers to the vacant posts today.

Chief Minister Lama appointed Govinda Lamsal as Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Maya Shrestha as Minister for Youth and Sports, and Gita Gurung as Minister for Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation amidst a program at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.
