Janamat Party's Senoir Vice Chairman Abdul Khan will be sworn-in as the Minister of Industry in the new government led by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

Meanwhile, Dr. Raut said he would not be a minister in the new government.

Exiting from the Parliament building on Monday, Raut said, "Our Senior Vice Chair Abdul Khan is going to represent the party in the government this time."

The party had sought the Ministry of Agriculture initially but was handed the Ministry of Industry.

The Janamat Party won one seat under first-past-the-post system in the November 20 election and won four more seats under proportional representation category.
