The Nepal America Journalists' Association (NEJA) has launched a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe.com, appealing for financial assistance for the treatment of its lifetime member, Jivanta Wagle.

Wagle is currently undergoing treatment at Walnut Creek Medical Center in California, US after a successful brain tumor surgery on July 7.

Through social media platforms, NEJA has urged the public to support the campaign by sharing it widely to reach more potential contributors.

According to NEJA General Secretary Ishwori Neupane, Wagle is currently being fed only liquids through a feeding tube, and the medical team reports that it is uncertain about the possibility of his full recovery.
