The names of Vice Chairman Nanda Bahadur Pun and Secretary Ganga Narayan Shrestha have finally been added to the website of the CPN (Maoist Center).
Although their responsibilities were finalized some time ago, their names had not been included on the website until recently. Until 2 PM on Friday afternoon, only the names of 43 standing committee members were listed on the website.
A Secretariat meeting held on April 6 had decided to appoint former Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun as vice chairman of the party. Similarly, the Secretariat meeting on May 26 decided to appoint Shrestha as secretary.
Pun ranks 6th in seniority. He is the last among the vice chairpersons of the Maoist Center. Among the vice chairpersons, Krishna Bahadur Mahara ranks first, followed by Agni Prasad Sapkota, Pampha Bhusal, and Pun.
With the inclusion of Pun, Shrestha and Dr. Bijaya Prakash Sainju on Friday, the number of standing committee members of the Maoist Center has now reached 46.
