The Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has decided to celebrate the 31st International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples for a week.

NEFIN’s President Gelje Lama Sherpa informed that they would observe the Day for a week. He shared it at a press conference on Sunday.

The week-long program will begin from August 9. Display of native food items will also feature during the celebration, he added.
