Prime Minister Oli lands in Turkmenistan

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has landed in Turkmenistan to participate in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs).

The delegation led by Prime Minister Oli reached Awaza city in Turkmenistan via Dubai International Airport at 2:30 PM local time.

He was welcomed at the Ashgabat International Airport by Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, along with Lok Bahadur Thapa, Nepal's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, and other officials.

Prime Minister Oli has reached the Awaza city at the formal invitation of Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedow and UN Secretary-General António Guterres to attend the conference to be held from August 5 to 8.
