Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has removed two leaders from its list of office bearers.

According to the details updated by the Election Commission on Wednesday, RSP has removed Sumana Shrestha as the Deputy General Secretary and Deepak Bohora as the Deputy Treasurer from its website.

On March 31, Sumana had submitted her resignation stating that she would not continue her role as the Deputy General Secretary. Similarly, Bohora's name was removed from the post of Deputy Treasurer after RSP amended its statute, limiting the position to only one person.

However, both remain as central committee members.

Currently, Basumaya Tamang is the only Deputy Treasurer in the RSP, while the post of Deputy General Secretary vacated by Sumana remains empty. There is internal dispute within RSP over who will take over the vacant position.
