Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is signing a performance agreement with ministers today regarding the main tasks to be accomplished in the current fiscal year (FY) 2025/26.
The Prime Minister's Office and the Council of Ministers informed that the inter-ministerial annual progress review and the signing of the performance agreement will take place at Singha Durbar at 1 PM today.
After the signing, the agreement will be exchanged, the PM's Secretariat has said.
Last year, on September 12, the Prime Minister had also signed a similar performance agreement with the ministers.
This year, the Prime Minister is proceeding with the agreement nearly a month earlier than last year.
Binod Bahadur Kunwar, the personal secretary of Prime Minister Oli, informed that the agreement will form the basis for making the year-long tasks and achievements faster and more effective.
Prime Minister Oli has been adopting the practice of performance agreements to ensure that the infrastructure development and service delivery improvements are completed within the stipulated time to achieve the goal of "Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali."
